I've just noted an interesting side-effect, when using the 'Remember Password' function with Firefox.

When you go into User Administration, to view a Member Profile, Firefox will automatically place your username and password, into the registration details of the member.

So, if you plan to do a bit of User Admin, it would be best to set this feature off, at least for that forum.

Yup! That's what Firefox does. Confused But, if you delete your own name, and put back the user's name, then it is fine. There is a way to turn off that "form fill" feature, but I don't know the details.

You can deactivate it, for the particular site you are on by:

Tools menu,
Options,
Privacy tab,
Passwords tab,
View Saved Passwords button,
select the Site URL from the list,
Remove button,

Close,
Ok.

Yes, but not the Users Password...

After using this feature quite a bit, there is a quicker method to switch on and off. Firefox remembers which Tab of options you last used, and so has it all ready for you, when you come back.

So once the 'Remember Password' option has been previously toggled...

Tools
Options
Remember Passwords
Ok.

Same procedure, 4 clicks, either for 'on', or for 'off'.
